Wyrd Sisters - Drama Production 2015

Wyrd Sisters Dress Rehearsal- Photos by Mr James Taylor.

Something is rotten and really quite stinks in the Kingdom of Lancre. The King is dead, Long Live the King! Well not quite, because the New King, the evil Duke Felmet, murdered the previous King and will stop at nothing until the whole Kingdom is under his bloodied hand. The only person who could take the throne would be the missing infant Prince. Hunted by the Duke's men the baby finds safety under the protection of three local witches, Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick. The witches have a rule never to interfere but with the life of a child at stake and the fate of the Kingdom at hand, Granny has a saying about rules, if you're going to break them "Break them good and hard!"
The late Terry Pratchett's most famous characters are brought to life by the students of BHHS in this hilarious fast paced adventure.  Performances are on each night from Wednesday 29th July to Saturday 1st August.

Tickets can be purchased now through Trybooking or at the door on the night.

I would like to encourage all students, families, and friends to attend a performance of this year's school production, Wyrd Sisters.  I can assure you that you will enjoy an outstanding night of wonderful theatre! It was my privilege to attend the opening night. I was treated to an evening of superb entertainment. I found the play to be funny and topical, and the performances by our students were totally professional. The acting was superb, and the stage craft, costumes, set, sound and lighting effects were brilliant.

I would like to extend my hearty congratulations to Mr Wilkins and Ms Robinson - the creativity and imagination you showed in your interpretation and development of this wonderful play is extraordinary.

Thank you for sharing your skills and talents with our students and also for providing a wonderful opportunity for so many of our students to work hard, develop their talents and ultimately to absolutely shine! And to our students - both the actors and the backstage crew, I am totally in awe of the talents you displayed! Congratulations!

Kate Mitchell, Principal.
